According to customers, bubbles will appear during the product labeling process. After repeated testing of the machine by CL staff, we have summarized the experience of how to solve the bubbles. CL's editor has summarized the following methods to avoid bubbles during labeling:
1. Make sure the labeling wheel is parallel to the surface to be labeled: If the labeling wheel is not parallel to the surface to be labeled, bubbles may occur. This problem can be solved by adjusting the labeling wheel to ensure that it is parallel to the surface to be labeled.
2. Adjust the labeling speed and conveying speed: Too fast labeling speed may cause bubbles. Re-adjusting the labeling speed or conveying speed to ensure that they match can reduce the generation of bubbles.
3. Select the label material: If the label is not strong enough, it is easy to wrinkle during the labeling or labeling process, resulting in bubbles. Choosing a suitable label material can reduce the generation of bubbles.
4. Clean the labeled product: If the labeled product is dusty or unqualified, or the label is not sticky enough, it may cause bubbles. Cleaning the product or replacing the product and label can reduce bubbles.
5. Control the temperature and humidity of the operating space: static electricity can also cause bubbles. Reasonable control of the temperature and humidity of the operating space, the ideal temperature is 20-22℃, and the relative humidity is 50%, which can reduce the impact of static electricity.
6. Use copper wire discharge: For film-based self-adhesive labels, static electricity can cause the labels to bubble. Using copper wire discharge can reduce static electricity problems.
7. Choose the right film material: Choose a film material with suitable properties according to the bottle material. Soft bottles should choose PE, PVC, unstretched PP, and synthetic materials of PE and PP; hard bottles should choose PET, BOPP, and PS fabrics.
8. Ensure that the surface of the bottle is clean and flat: If the surface of the bottle is not clean and flat, it will also cause bubbles. The bottle should be cleaned and dried in advance, and according to the shape of the bottle surface, it should be fixed by the conveyor clamp during labeling.
9. Choose the right base paper: Choose a base paper with good smoothness, such as PET base paper, which can make the adhesive have good flatness on its surface and good wettability and flatness after labeling.
10. Clean impurities on the bottle: Impurities on the bottle, plasticizers, chemical reactions of glue, activation of solvents on the printing surface, etc. will cause bubbles to form during the labeling process. Therefore, the bottle needs to be cleaned.
Through the methods summarized by the CL editor above, the generation of bubbles during labeling can be effectively reduced or avoided, ensuring the stable operation of the labeling machine during labeling operations and ensuring daily production efficiency.
